Cattery
At Hørsholm Kennel and Cattery we have situated the cattery far from the kennel, in order to prevent the dogs and cats from being able to see, hear, or smell each other.The cattery has 9 rooms, all of which have a stimulating environment for the cat. They all include a cosy lair, sleeping platform, scratching post, litterbox, and bowls for food and water (all of which are thoroughly cleaned prior to a new cat's arrival). Cats which do not usually live together get seperate rooms.
Twice a day, the door is opened, thus giving the cat access to the building, as well as the outside pen. In the outside pen, there is a clear view of the beautiful surroundings with a lake and a rich bird life, something our guests follow with great interest.
During the day, there is subdued, stress reducing music, which is turned off together with the lights at night.
